What's new with Ivanti Autonomous Patch Management with Predictive Remediation and Endpoint Security
Ivanti is continuing to advance endpoint security, patch management and is introducing Predictive Remediation for Q3 2026 — with releases that improve visibility, reduce manual work, expand platform support and help teams move faster from risk identification to action.
Here’s what’s new:
Ivanti Device and Application Control: Enhanced logging controls help reduce unnecessary disk usage by letting administrators enable, disable or delete sdcevent.json generation based on operational needs.
Reverse shadowing adds visibility into files copied from removable storage devices to local endpoints, including file name, source/destination path and copy method logging, with optional file capture for faster investigation.
Ivanti Security Controls: Oracle Linux 10 patching support expands the list of patchable operating systems, enabling customers to patch Oracle Linux 10 systems through Ivanti Security Controls. Checkpoint Cumulative Updates support for agentless deployments auto-detects checkpoint chains, installs required packages silently with reboot suppression and triggers one controlled reboot at completion.
Ivanti Neurons for Patch Management: Oracle Linux 10 patching support expands the list of patchable operating systems, enabling customers to patch Oracle Linux 10 systems. Multi-select across pages for enhanced productivity, expanded Patch Intelligence exports and automatic retry count resets. The release also improves deployment visibility through Ring Deployment enhancements, refines patch status reporting for more accurate compliance tracking and delivers several usability updates to streamline administration and reporting.
Patch Content Catalogue: New supported patch products include additions such as Windows Defender Platform ARM64, Poly Studio, Sharefile Desktop, PowerShell ARM64, VMware Workstation Pro 26H1, Node.js ARM64, Sysmon ARM64, Genesys Cloud Client and Devolutions Desktop Manager across Windows and macOS. New major versions of supported products include Pycharm, Firefox, PDF-XChange, Thunderbird, Jabra Direct, Visual Studio Build Tools, Citrix Workspace App MalwareBytes and other Windows/macOS updates.
Ivanti Neurons for RBVM & ASPM: Platform improvements add policy compliance group-by enhancements, Age (Days) for findings, Orca alert-to-vulnerability representation, RBVM ITSM CMDB integration, AWS Inspector V2 tag fields and Tenable compliance filtering improvements. Policy Compliance and Age of Findings enhancements make compliance posture review faster and help teams identify long-open risk across host and application findings. Integration updates improve triage and prioritization by mapping Orca alerts into meaningful vulnerability titles, enabling CMDB-based asset/finding organization, importing AWS tag metadata and filtering invalid Tenable compliance checks.
Predictive Remediation: Predictive Remediation, delivered through Ivanti Autonomous Patch Management Premium, unifies discovery, exposure aggregation, risk-based prioritization and predictive compliance so teams can move from detection to patch without leaving Neurons.
- Assets Visibility: Assets from Ivanti Neurons discovery and scanners including Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, CrowdStrike and Microsoft Defender are deduplicated into one inventory, with business criticality, RS³ and in-line actions like deploying an agent or reassigning policy.
- Exposures Aggregation: Findings are normalized into a CVE-centric view across scanners, prioritized with Ivanti’s Vulnerability Risk Rating (VRR) and enriched with exploit, ransomware, malware, CWE, impacted asset and fix context.
- Risk Prioritization: VRR helps teams determine which vulnerability to address first, while RS³ helps prioritize assets and communicate organizational risk using factors such as greatest VRR, exposure count, business criticality and internal/external status.
- Predictive Compliance: Predictive Compliance gives CVEs supported in Ivanti’s Patch Catalog a forward-looking readiness score based on whether impacted assets are discovered by Neurons, have an active Ivanti agent and are assigned to a policy with an active patch configuration.
- Insights Dashboard: Assets Visibility and Exposures Overview dashboards provide clickable posture insights, including discovered assets, high-risk assets, assets due for scan, total discovered exposures, exposures with known exploits and critical/high exposures.
- Executive Reporting: Two out-of-the-box PDF reports — “Assets with exposures — Detailed” and “Exposures — Detailed” — can be run on demand or scheduled, filtered by risk and shared by email or with Neurons users.
