Throughout KubeCon + CloudNativeCon NA 2022, our team was able to speak to over 100 people from the cloud-native community to learn more about their thoughts and experience of the event. This blog will explore what the community thought was the hot topic of discussion at KubeCon + CNC NA 2022, which includes topics such as security, cost, and developer experience. Detroit, known by its nickname “Motor City'', is a bustling and beautiful city filled with dazzling architecture, food, history, and of course, people.This year, it was home to KubeCon 2022. The city is close to home for Jake and I, 45 minutes from where we started Cycle; it was wonderful seeing how the city has grown the last few years. The art deco style buildings loomed overhead, and the smell of freshly cooked food wafted through the downtown area just outside the venue.

It’s a wrap! From October 24–28, the Pepperdata team attended KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America 2022, which brought together top engineers and developers from communities centered around Kubernetes and cloud native. With topics ranging from container observability practices to K8s innovations, Pepperdata unveiled the latest offering of its own: Autonomous FinOps for Kubernetes.

The world is getting back to normal… I attended my first conference after three years of almost no travel and Gartner did not disappoint. The Gartner IT Symposium//Xpo™* drew thousands of attendees to Orlando, Florida from around the globe and I think everyone was as excited (and - a bit - nervous) as I was to be back together again. As Gartner does annually, they identified Top Strategic Technology Trends for 2023.

The KubeCon event is a major cloud-native gathering thousands of people and hundreds of vendors for 3 days. Technology enthusiasts and adopters from leading cloud-native and open-source communities gather and discuss innovative ideas at KubeCon. It provides a forum where you can exchange relevant information and insights on the latest trends in Kubernetes and the container world.

This year’s Experience Everywhere is in the books – and just as we expected, the New York crowd helped us end this unforgettable four-city tour on a high note. We knew we had to bring something special for our big return to a live conference, and our incredible attendees and a star-studded lineup of speakers helped us do just that.

Ah SpiceWorld. One of NinjaOne’s favorite conferences – and a personal favorite of mine. So after two years of the show being virtual, we were thrilled to learn that SpiceWorld would be back in-person this year (with a virtual element too). We couldn’t wait to see everyone in person again!
