Development on Request Metrics begins! Before we can write any fun, (hopefully) money making code, we need to get some unexciting ground work out of the way. First on the list: making a new project in Visual Studio 2019.

Creating a new project is something that most developers don't do very often. This leads to the embarrassing situation where a "back to basics" activity like creating an empty project feels a bit confusing and foreign because of our lack of familiarity. Request Metrics is our first serious ASP.Net Core project. We'll look into how portable .Net core is and whether Todd can develop on his Mac without using Windows inside a VM.
