With the newest updates to the StatusCake app you are now able to get a lot more done whilst on the go. We’ve added several features which we think will enhance the experience, and there’s a lot more to come over the next few weeks, so keep your eyes peeled!
We currently integrate with a wide range of notification systems and applications to which we can send through our Up or Down alerts based on the health and status of your website on StatusCake. Sometimes though, it’s great to have these alerts coming through to a system that’s not classically used for notifications. Today we’ll take a look at how you can have your downtime alerts sent to the Zendesk Customer Service Software & Support Ticket System.
We’ve today introduced a fully functional API for use with our Public Reporting tool. This allows you to carry out all of the functions that you would in app, but now you can automate and schedule these tasks instead of needing to complete them manually.
Ever wanted to keep a backup of StatusCake data without manual entry or usage of the API? This article will take you through a different and automated method of doing so for the Up and Down test alerts. This is done with the help of the Zapier service, and the data will be stored in Google Sheets.
You can now install our very own StatusCake app on any iOS or Android device. This means you can check your test status on the go wherever you are without needing to log into email or access the StatusCake site in a mobile view! At launch the app covers Uptime, SSL and PageSpeed type tests, and you can view all of the important information for each type at a glance. All you will need to make use of this is your StatusCake username and API key.

It’s focus on system data and team collaboration makes it an excellent choice for ensuring that StatusCake alerts go to the right person at the right time, which will reduce alert fatigue and ultimately increase uptime.
Today we’ve further expanded our list of alerting integrations, with the introduction of Telegram you now have a new way to receive fast, cloud based and private notifications from the StatusCake app, on the platform and operating system of your choice. Telegram has all of the industry standard features, along with some handy unique ones for good measure. The software will enable you to access your messages from multiple devices.
