After a two-year hiatus, Datadog customer summits are back. And what better place to begin in-person again than in sunny Denver, Colorado!

Dell Technologies World is upon us, and in addition to being a welcomed return to the in-person format, it’s also an opportunity for me to reflect on Virtana’s long history with Dell, our integration points, and the synergies with the Dell portfolio.

In late November 2013, the highly anticipated Expo 2020 Dubai was announced by World Expo. Expos over the years have showcased the world’s greatest innovations, initiated the dialogue for a more progressive future, and encouraged people to embrace the evolving technology-driven shift in society. Expo 2020 Dubai started on October 1, 2021 with over 192 countries participating, hosting a whopping 5,610 official events on its site in the first month.

The Game Developers Conference (GDC) is a yearly event that brings together leading brands in the gaming industry to talk about trends in development and showcase new features and releases. One of the cool things about the conference is that it’s an excellent opportunity for gaming enthusiasts, aspiring game developers, and industry vendors to connect, network, learn and celebrate the achievements of the industry.

What do big mountain ascents and modern network operations have in common? You’ll only succeed when you’re learning from experience. This was one among many compelling takeaways that attendees took from our recent NetOps Summit. Centered on the theme “visibility anywhere,” this event featured a number of compelling presentations, including a keynote from Jimmy Chin, the professional climber, photographer, and Academy Award-winning filmmaker.

The HIMSS 2022 conference, hosted in Orlando, was an enjoyable, insightful experience with sessions that covered many healthcare topics, such as business operations, data and information, care delivery, policy and technology. Education sessions were led by renowned thought leaders who examined challenges and trends in modern healthcare. Here are five takeaways from our HIMSS 2022 experience.

If you didn’t attend our recently concluded DevOps Cloud Days online conference, you missed a learning event that those who did called “fantastic” and “meaningful.” In written feedback, developers, operations staff, and security admins who attended described the presentations as “powerful,” “inspiring” and “excellent.” Fortunately, it wasn’t your last chance to share that fruitful experience with us.

Toward the end of each year, tens of thousands make the journey to Las Vegas to participate in AWS re:Invent. AWS re:Invent has been the seminal conference for cloud-focused engineers since 2012, offering a space where the global cloud computing community can share and learn the latest insights and solutions.

AWS re:Invent 2021 was an especially unique event, as it was the industry’s first big in-person event since the start of the pandemic. After nearly two years of virtual events, being able to walk the expo halls in-person was an adjustment to say the least.

A couple of weeks ago the Open Source Monitoring Conference (OSMC) took place in Nuremberg, Germany. For over a decade now the OSMC provides a platform for monitoring engineers and open source vendors from the field. Icinga is part of this conference since the beginning. For us the event is a highlight every year and we take the chance to spend time with the community and give updates about our products. Like every year, our CEO Bernd summarized again the current state of Icinga.
