This week the Grafana Labs team was busy prepping for the Grafana v5.3 stable release! Grafana v5.3 adds Stackdriver as a core datasource, a new graphical query editor for Postgres, enhancements to TV and kiosk mode, and a lot more. See the release section for a list of all the new features.

When we release something new, whether it’s a new SDK or Beeline or a new feature in the UI, we’ll often set a Honeycomb Trigger to keep track of its use. Sometimes we don’t necessarily have a customer we know is immediately going to use the feature in question, and we’re interested in when it happens.

Here at Sematext we use Java and rely on Logsene, our hosted ELK logging SaaS, a lot. We like them so much that we regularly share our logging experience with everyone and help others with logging, especially, ELK stack.
