Another HIMSS show is in the books and the impact this year was tremendous, especially in terms of discussions and announcements. Let’s set the scene – an IT professional just received a critical alert, notifying him of an urgent matter. Before I hop right in, it’s important to understand a bit about diabetes. Diabetes is what happens when your body cannot produce (type 1) or respond (type 2) to insulin effectively.
